Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation
The Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation (GTTF) is committed to restoring and preserving the traditional values of Taekwondo, which many practitioners and stakeholders feel are fading. Our Federation unites a diverse community of masters from around the world, all dedicated to our mission and deeply passionate about advancing Taekwondo alongside other global Taekwondo organizations.
The GTTF, a nonprofit organization with members in 160+ countries/states (as of March 13, 2025) respects and acknowledges the contributions of recognized Taekwondo organizations worldwide. We strive to foster strong relationships with these organizations and fully support our members, empowering them to proudly practice, preserve, and promote traditional
Taekwondo. Our efforts include strengthening educational programs and developing evaluation standards that uphold the rights and interests of all members.
In October of this year, the GTTF hosted the Global Taekwondo Summit in Korea. This summit focused on the restoration of traditional Taekwondo values, complementing the evolution of Taekwondo in the modern sports movement.
As part of the summit, we issued Dan certificates free of charge to recognize the existing ranks of practitioners, regardless of where they originally received their certification. This gesture reflects our respect for their achievements and our commitment to honoring Taekwondo's legacy.
